Description
This expansion for Senjutsu: Battle for Japan introduces two characters, a monk with a bonshō bell and a sailor, represented by three detailed miniatures. It includes 108 cards covering the characters, characteristic abilities, weapons, basic gameplay and solo play. The monk is a powerful fighter whose Piercing Jumonji Yari weapon card, optional backward movement and ability to attack from three spaces make it difficult for enemies to get behind him. Players can also follow a challenging path to enlightenment that raises the monk above all living things. Inspired by William Adams, the British navigator shipwrecked on the shores of Japan in the sixteenth century who eventually became a samurai and shogun’s adviser, the sailor uses a pistol that can be changed into a black sword during combat. His Dreaded Black Shot inflicts ranged damage based on the difference in initiative. The rules and game materials are in Czech.
