In the expansion of the Noble Settlements, noble allies who no longer wish to stand by as raids occur on our borders will join the Paladins of the Western Kingdom. Dukes, barons, counts, and margraves, however, will offer their coveted assistance only to those who can subdue them through careful negotiation and diplomacy. Will you manage to gather enough strength and defend our strongholds once again, or will you succumb to the weight of your own indecision and apathy? This expansion brings not only new cards for citizens, paladins, and foreigners but also two new actions on the expansion board: negotiation and support. Support cards add new actions to the cards on the game board and the possibility of interesting bonuses. The support action allows you to acquire these support cards, even with the subjects already on it. Negotiation introduces a new diplomacy feature that allows you to subdue or commission nobles. By subduing, you gain an enhanced action, while commissioning grants you symbols that you can collect for points at the end of the game. The game is designed for 1-4 players aged 12 and up.
