Raiders of Scythia - Board Game (Czech Edition)

Many centuries ago, the Greek, Persian and Assyrian empires stretched across vast territories and ruled over immense riches. Despite the protection of mighty walls and impressive armies, frightening rumours began to spread about fierce enemies arriving from the lands beyond the Black Sea. They came on horseback: warriors and women warriors skilled with swords, axes and bows. Far from being mindless savages, their craftsmen were renowned goldsmiths, they made light and durable leather armour, invented the composite bow centuries ahead of its time, and trained eagles to hunt and fight. They are even said to have inspired the Greek legends of the Amazons. These raiders were not merely characters from legend, but real people: the raiders of Scythia. In this board game, players aim to finish with the most victory points by raiding settlements, gathering spoils and undertaking expeditions. First, they must assemble a raiding party, train animals and prepare provisions. The game is for 1–4 players aged 12 and over. The rules and game materials are in Czech. The game includes an illustrated rulebook, a game board, four player boards, 26 expedition tokens, 126 cards, a loot bag, 80 loot tokens, 32 wound tokens, 32 kumys tokens, 32 provision tokens, 31 Scythians, six dice, four score markers and 32 silver coins.
