Imagine Dragons: Origins - CD

The most streamed band of this year, multiplatinum artists and Grammy winners Imagine Dragons, are releasing their fourth album, Origins. The album features hits like the number one song Natural and the single Zero from the movie Ralph Breaks the Internet. Origins is meant to be a sister album to the previous one, Evolve. "It's about searching for a new environment, but it's also about valuing your roots," comments lead singer Dan Reynolds, whose bandmates include guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee, and drummer Daniel Platzman. "When we create, we create without boundaries, without any rules. We find it thrilling to make music that is something new and different for us." Imagine Dragons teamed up with producers Joel Little (Lorde/Khalid), the duo Mattman & Robin (Selena Gomez/Carly Rae Jepsen), and John Hill (Florence & The Machine), who helped the band perfect the kaleidoscopic sound of Origins. The album moves between art rock, hip-hop, pop, and folk, and retains the typical signature of Imagine Dragons, which includes lyrics that tell stories of occasionally painful self-reflections that ultimately lead to inspiration and uplift the soul.
