CD The Pretty Reckless: Light Me Up

The rock band The Pretty Reckless formed two years ago, and its popularity continues to grow even though the four-member group is only releasing its debut album now. The band is often described as a modern-day Hole, while some see Courtney Love in its just sixteen-year-old frontwoman Taylor Momsen. The seemingly delicate blonde is the face and driving force of this hard-edged band, as well as an American actress and model known from the cult series Gossip Girl. The band most often cites Oasis, Nirvana and The Beatles as its influences. The album is preceded by the single Make Me Wanna Die, which also appears on the soundtrack to Kick-Ass and immediately became a hit in the United Kingdom, reigning for six weeks at the top of the official British rock chart. The album is produced by the experienced team of Kato Khandwala and Ben Phillips, who have also contributed to the success of Paramore and My Chemical Romance. Track listing: 1. My Medicine; 2. Since You're Gone; 3. Make Me Wanna Die; 4. Light Me Up; 5. Just Tonight; 6. Miss Nothing; 7. Goin' Down; 8. Nothing Left To Lose; 9. Factory Girl; 10. You.
