Eminem: Music to Be Murdered By CD

Legendary American rapper Eminem releases his eleventh studio album Music to Be Murdered By, which, like the previous album Kamikaze, comes out without prior announcement and under the name of Eminem's 'reincarnated' alter ego Slim Shady. The album, produced among others by Dr. Dre, features 20 tracks with guest appearances from artists such as Skylar Grey, Ed Sheeran, Young M.A., and the recently deceased Juice WRLD. Two of the three cover versions of the album are a paraphrase of the eponymous album by Jeff Alexander from 1958, which features the king of horror Alfred Hitchcock on its cover, who was also a significant inspiration for Eminem's current album. As is customary for Eminem, Music to Be Murdered By is not without controversy. Mixed reactions from both fans and critics were particularly earned by the tracks Darkness and Unaccommodating. The former references the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, with Eminem speaking through the voice of the shooter.
