The new album from the legend of Czechoslovak pop music contains 12 new songs that Miro Žbirka recorded before his sudden passing at the end of last year. He entrusted the production of the album to his son David Žbirka, who brought a fresh breeze and a modern musical coat to the entire album. The first single from the album, NEJSI SÁM, released in February 2022, proves that it was the right choice, as it became a megahit on Czech and Slovak radio stations. In April, it even topped the charts as the most played song on Czech radio stations. The song also performs excellently on streaming services, demonstrating that the youngest generation is interested in Meky’s new work. Meky’s songs will also be featured in a special tour for his uncelebrated 70th birthday - in London, Prague, and Bratislava in the fall of 2022. The album POSLEDNÉ VĚCI aspires to be one of the biggest bestsellers of 2022.
