This deluxe edition is an expansive board game set in the world of The Witcher. What if Dandelion decided to face a striga alone? Was the conflict between Renfri and Stregobor always destined to end in death? How might events unfold if you could influence them? In The Witcher: Path of Destiny, you take on the roles of iconic characters from the Witcher universe and play through familiar stories. Develop the narrative with cleverly played cards and tableau building, using interconnected symbols and effects. Make use of your character’s abilities and try to outwit your opponents, because only one of you will emerge victorious and become the story’s main hero. Play as Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer, Dandelion or Vesemir, using special abilities and unique cards to follow your path of destiny without fear. Retell iconic stories by helping the villagers in the Valley of Flowers deal with a devil, answering King Foltest’s challenge and facing a striga, or visiting Blaviken to discover whether a choice between the lesser and greater evil is possible. Influence the outcome by playing cards and using special effects to collect symbols representing your actions and reveal your destiny. The game is for 1–5 players aged 14 and over. The box contains a game board, five player boards, five cardboard figures, five plastic figures, five automa boards, 169 cards, 69 story cards, 30 wooden markers, 227 tokens and Czech rules.
