You can make the text invisible by heating it through the friction of the plastic tip on paper. You can then rewrite the erased text with the same pen. The erased lines will reappear if exposed to very low temperatures (-18 °C). The erasing surface is on the top of the cap and also at the end of the pen. A practical detail for anyone who likes to place the cap on the end of the pen while writing. You won't have to remove the cap every time you want to erase something. Simply designed. Erasable pens are not recommended for signatures and legal documents where the writing should remain permanent.
