Fast-drying azure-blue paint for creating marble effects on plastic, glass, acrylic, wood, papier-mâché, blown eggs, metal, polystyrene and paper. Marble patterns can be created on paper up to A5 using only water, while rice paper and other absorbent papers produce especially attractive effects. For larger paper formats, and for silk or thin fabrics, a wallpaper-paste bath serves as the base, helping the paper or fabric remain on the surface and allowing precise patterns. Shake the paint well before use, then drip two or three colours onto the prepared surface and shape the pattern with a wooden stick or comb. Gently place the paper, silk or fabric onto the design, allow it to absorb the paint, then remove it slowly and rinse away excess paste with cold water. Always test silk and fabric first, as not all materials are suitable; marble-effect silk and fabrics cannot be washed.
