Marabu Easy Color batikovací barva - bordó 25 g

Dye for batik and hand dyeing. Suitable for cotton, linen, silk, viscose, and blended fabrics (max. 20% synthetic fibers) and rice paper. Can be hand washed up to 30 °C. The sachet (25g) is sufficient for intense dyeing of 150g of fabric. Not suitable for hot washing. Very good lightfastness. Also suitable for children. Original colors can only be achieved on white textiles; colored textiles will create a shade mixed with the base color. Dyeing process: 1. For intense dyeing, pour 3-5 liters of boiling water into a large stainless steel container (bowl, bucket) to allow the fabric to move freely. For medium to light shades (max. 300g of fabric), use 7 liters of water. 2. Add the contents of the sachet and dissolve. 3. Add 1 tablespoon of kitchen salt for each liter of water and dissolve. For silk, it is also necessary to add 50 ml of household vinegar. 4. Moisten the fabric with lukewarm water, gently wring it out. 5. Place the fabric in the dye bath; for wax batik, reduce the temperature to 40-50 °C. 6. Dye for at least 20 minutes while continuously moving the fabric. 7. After each dyeing cycle, rinse the dyed fabric in cold water until the water runs clear. Silk must cool slowly before rinsing.
