This fast-paced strategy game centers on clever camp placement and thoughtful hand management. A new day begins, your supplies are disappearing in the morning chill, and it is time to abandon camp and set out into unexplored country in search of what you need. Travel through forests and deserts, follow the landscape from a river bend to the heart of the mountains, gather resources essential for survival, and protect the sacred fire that warms your bodies and lights your way through the darkness. Make the best use of the landscape and the resources you obtain. Strategically place your camps and fulfill the conditions shown on your story tiles. Collect berries, master the fire, and earn additional points while competing with your opponents for the highest score. Choose landscape cards and add them to your hand, then use matching cards to place camps in key areas before your opponents arrive. Complete your objectives through smart placement of camps and cards. The game includes one basic scenario, three additional scenarios, and rules for team play. Its strategy is thoughtful yet accessible, requiring careful planning across a changing map and flexible responses to opponents’ moves. Each camp placement affects your scoring options and can force other players to reconsider their strategies. Story tiles provide clear goals, while the alternating actions of drawing cards and placing camps create a smooth rhythm. Player interaction arises when crossing opponents’ camps and competing for zones, and inserted landscape cards expand the possibilities of your tribe without complicating the rules. The dynamic map changes from round to round, and the range of scenarios adds new challenges and replayability.
