Deploy or Die

Deploy or Die is a dynamic card game aimed at web developers, combining strategy with an element of fun in the environment of web application development. Players take on the role of developers whose goal is to get their application into production before the other players. The game supports 2 to 4 players and is designed for individuals aged 12 and older, with an average playtime of around 20 minutes.

Each player starts with a few basic cards and gradually draws more cards from the deck during the game. The application that players build consists of three basic components: Frontend, Backend, and Database. These are represented by Deploy cards that players lay down in front of them. However, laying down these cards can attract attacks from opponents, who can use various attack cards like Bug, Security Bug, or DDOS to disrupt or steal components.

To defend their components, players can use cards like Hot Fix, Revert, Not a Bug, or Works on My Machine, which help them fend off or repair damage caused by opponents' attacks.

A special card in the game is Error 500, which can cause serious complications. If a player draws this card, they must immediately show it to the other players and resolve its effect, which usually…
