Description
This Czech-language children’s audio production presents the fairy tales Budulínek, Little Red Riding Hood, The Twelve Months and Sleeping Beauty. Zdeněk Svěrák and Jaroslav Uhlíř perform and sing alongside members of the children’s ensembles Sedmihlásek Praha and Claireton Chorale from Klánovice. The performers take on a range of roles, including the grandfather, wolf, months, grandmother, Little Red Riding Hood, Maruška, Sleeping Beauty, the fox, Holena, the wicked fairy, the stepmother, the kind fairy, Budulínek, the dove, a suitor and the third prince. The choirs are conducted by Hana Homérová, Světlana Tvrzická and Vít Homér, while the studio orchestra is conducted by Jiří Škorpík. The production is directed by Viktor Polesný, with Josef Špelda as principal cameraman.
