Yo Yo Band’s 1993 album Karviná, remastered in 2025, helped transform the band from a popular reggae and Hanspaulská scene favourite into a nationwide star. The album sold 150,000 copies and won three Czech Grammy awards in 1994, while songs including “Rybitví”, “To mě láká” and “Karviná” remain central to the band’s concert repertoire. This reissue includes period photographs from Richard Tesařík’s private archive, careful remastering by the SONO studio and Pavel Karlík, and a redesigned presentation by Czech designer Věra Marešová that respects the original visual style. The tracklist includes “To mě láká”, “Ráno budu dělat šéfa”, “Tak jsem tady”, “Karviná”, “Major Půvabný”, “To teda ne”, “Ženská logika”, “My jezdíme po vinárnách”, “Až budem sami”, “Tonda Boogie”, “Šedivá mlha”, “Jenda se Standou”, “Svět je jinej”, “Když se choulí den”, “Dej tu kupu sem!” and “Rybitví”.
