Arakain’s cult 1992 album Black Jack returns on CD in a remastered edition. The Czech metal band’s third studio recording marked an important milestone, presenting a rawer yet more melodic side of Arakain with songs such as “Black Jack,” “Zapomeň” and “Kolonie termitů.” The album features Aleš Brichta, Jiří Urban, Zdeněk Kub, Miroslav Mach and Marek Žežulka, and remains one of the band’s most popular releases among fans. This edition brings completely remastered sound from SONO Records, balancing authenticity with current standards. It includes carefully reconstructed artwork respecting the original design, a booklet with historical material and rare photographs from the period when the album was created. The tracklist comprises “Black Jack,” “Harlekýn,” “Labyrint,” “Zapomeň,” “High Attack,” “Ty se nezdáš,” “Kolonie termitů,” “Ukolébavka” and “Don Quijote.”
