Andělé strážní - CD

This CD presents Štefan Margita in a collection of deeply personal duets with notable Czech and Slovak singers from several generations and musical styles. Each song is a musical meeting with a woman who has left an artistic or personal mark on Margita’s life, bringing together the depth of emotion, the strength of friendship and the character of two voices. The album features Lucie Bílá, Monika Absolonová, Marta Jandová, Olga Lounová, Ivana Chýlková, Jitka Čvančarová, Gabriela Soukalová, Bára Hrzánová, Kateřina Kněžíková and Hana Zagorová. Their performances combine classical music, pop and chanson in carefully selected Czech and international songs, along with several new compositions created especially for the album. The arrangements offer fresh interpretations of familiar and less familiar melodies, with both emotional and playful vocal dialogues. The CD comes in a special folding digipack with extensive text and photographic material. The tracklist includes “Anděl strážný”, “Mezi námi oceány”, “Čistý svet”, “Hraj, muziko”, “Mráz”, “Cesta cest”, “Stopy”, “Tygr z hotelu”, “Rybičko zlatá, přeju si”, “Houpat se na vlnách” and “E penso a te”.
