This LP presents Štefan Margita in an unusually personal collection of duets with distinguished Czech and Slovak singers from different generations and musical genres. Each song is a musical meeting with a woman who has left an artistic or personal mark on Margita’s life. Lucie Bílá, Monika Absolonová, Marta Jandová, Olga Lounová, Ivana Chýlková, Jitka Čvančarová, Gabriela Soukalová, Bára Hrzánová, Kateřina Kněžíková and Hana Zagorová join his charismatic voice in a captivating blend of classical music, pop and chanson. The album combines carefully selected Czech and international repertoire with new songs written especially for this occasion, offering fresh arrangements, surprising interpretations and emotional as well as playful exchanges between two voices.
