Okno mé lásky - Hity Petra Jandy a kapely Olympic, originální nahrávky ze stejnojmenného muzikálu - 2 CD

This two-CD collection contains the original recordings from the musical Okno mé lásky, built around the hits of Petr Janda and Olympic. Inspired by the repertoire of Václav Neckář, Karel Gott and Helena Vondráčková, Prague’s Broadway Theatre presents another stage production in which famous songs accompany the dramatic lives of imaginary characters rather than telling the story of a particular singer, musician or band. The 26 tracks offer a cross-section of Janda’s songwriting from the mid-1960s to the present, with one exception, combining around two dozen hits with additional melodies that fit the story and belong among the unforgettable songs of several generations. The collection showcases Janda’s distinctive rock-pop melodies, lyrics by Pavel Chrastina and his successors, and a musical portrait of shared lives. CD 1 contains Questions, The Turtle, Me (Selfishness), Beautiful Stranger, Perhaps I Am to Blame, The Train That Stops Nowhere, Window of My Love (Love), When the Light Is Green, Let It Be, Sun Song, Like a Calf at the Gate, Suitcase and My Lord. CD 2 contains Somehow You Are Fading Away, My Love, Agatha, Give Me More of Your Love, The Sky Above, Clear Message, We Keep Going, Your Mother’s Tears, As in the Old Days, Dynamite, Good Evening, Miss Paris, The Rosy Starling, The Eighth Day and Scars of Love.
