Description
This vinyl reissue celebrates 40 years of Arakain and presents another acclaimed album by the Czech thrash-metal band. Following the celebrated debut Thrash The Trash, which defined Czech thrash metal, Arakain took a more complex musical path with Schizofrenie. Featuring a new lineup with Aleš Brichta, Jiří Urban, Zdeněk Kub, Miroslav Mach and Štěpán Smetáček, the album offers more technical, intricate, compositionally sophisticated and colourfully arranged thrash metal than its predecessor. Schizofrenie is widely regarded by fans and music journalists as one of Arakain’s finest works. The album appears in a carefully remastered edition from SONO Records with a sensitively reconstructed cover. The 180-gram vinyl edition also includes download codes for a Hi-Res transfer of the original recording. The Czech-language tracklist includes Strážci času, Teror, Řekni a máš mě, Kamennej anděl, Antikrist, Gilotina, Sedmá pečeť and Schizofrenie.
