Description
Tata Bojs return with their tenth studio album, an inventive and carefully crafted collection that combines serious themes with the band's characteristic lightness, wit, irony and distinctive sound. The album's title, meaning “one zero,” refers both to the group's tenth studio recording and to the binary system underlying the digital world, while also contrasting emptiness and somethingness and suggesting the victory for which we all hope. The themes range from the emptiness surrounding death and the origins of the world in “Big Bang” to the cheerful yet chillingly ironic “Minority.” The album also includes the dance track “220 Travoltas,” the wordplay of “Girls' Club,” the singles “Bells” and “Kraftwerk in Saint-Tropez,” and “Secret,” featuring special guest Emma Smetana. Milan Cais and Dušan Neuwerth again serve as producers, with contributions from saxophonist Marcel Bárta, the sCore orchestra and former Tata Bojs member Marek Doubrava, who arranged the strings. The album contains ten new songs and an intro.
