An anniversary vinyl reissue of Luboš Pospíšil and 5P’s acclaimed album ...a nestřílejte na milence, originally completed 35 years ago and released for Pospíšil’s seventieth birthday. The ten recordings feature music by L. Pospíšil, O. Petřina, P. Skoumal and B. Zatloukal, with lyrics by L. Kantor, P. Šrut and O. Petřina. Songs such as Balada o několika papírovejch čertech, Soukromá cesta do Nikam, Marilyn, Goodbye, Píši vám, Karino and Dvě tváře: Jekyll a Hyde gradually became enduring hits. Dvě tváře: Jekyll a Hyde appears twice, including a different 2002 version as a bonus. The original cover has been revitalised by graphic designer Karel Haloun using photographs by Jaroslav Prokop, and the package includes the complete lyrics and Pospíšil’s contemporary reflections. The 180-gram vinyl features newly remastered songs performed by the energetic band with guest keyboard player Petr Skoumal, combining melodic originality, unconventional lyrics and Pospíšil’s distinctive voice.
