Description
This three-disc MP3 audiobook set presents almost all of Zdeněk Svěrák’s writing and interpretive work in Czech. The first two discs bring together stories he published in book form and later recorded himself, with three stories also read by Dana Kolářová and Libuše Šafránková. The third disc is devoted to his work for children: fairy tales, songs and short operas, often created with Jaroslav Uhlíř and performed by dozens of adults and children. Some of the recordings also served as the basis for television or film adaptations. The collection includes stories from Povídky, Horká neděle aneb Vynechané povídky, Nové povídky, Po strništi bos and Strážce nádrže, as well as Tatínku, ta se ti povedla, Pan Buřtík a pan Špejlička, Tři auta, Krápník a Františka, Kolo se zlatými ráfky, Radovanovy radovánky, Operky and Ty nejlepší písničky v novém kabátě. The word “almost” in the title hints at another literary work still awaiting publication.
