This Czech-language audiobook set contains 277 minutes of fairy-tale stories featuring a host of well-known Czech actors, including Hana Maciuchová, Jaroslav Satoranský, Radoslav Brzobohatý, Lubomír Lipský and Iva Janžurová. Marie Kubátová, author of many popular children’s books and the literary basis for the television series The Giant Mountains Fairy Tale, is represented mainly by three original albums of stories about Krakonoš, Trautenberk, Kuba, Anče and the gamekeeper. The set contains eight separately dramatized fairy tales, as well as Iva Janžurová’s two-part account of the adventures of the little goblin Nedoubek, who falls out of the boy Doubek’s pocket and experiences a series of adventures among insects, plants and birds. The stories include Trautenberk’s magical experiments, Krakonoš’s pipe, Trautenberk’s attempts to send Kuba into military service, their wars and the search for the Firebird, along with Nedoubek’s further adventures.
