Description
This Czech-language children’s audiobook brings the famous film fairy tale The Brave Blacksmith to life through the narration of Pavel Kříž, the original film interpreter of Mikeš. Based on Božena Němcová’s tale The Fearless Mikeš, the film screenplay and a stage musical adaptation, it follows the kind, good-hearted and immensely strong blacksmith Mikeš as he sets out into the world to do good and free princesses from captivity. Along the way, he must overcome obstacles created by the evil wizard Black King as well as by false friends. The story features original songs by Hana and Petr Ulrych, performed by the Ulrych siblings, the Javory group and the Film Symphony Orchestra conducted by Mario Klemens. Pavel Kříž returns to the character decades later as narrator. Total running time is 65 minutes.
