Description
This CD and DVD edition of Škwor’s fifth album, released in autumn 2008, contains songs created from the band’s current musical tastes and moods rather than earlier ideas. The album definitively confirms the sound Škwor developed over the preceding years: forceful, colourful, playful, energetic rock marked by the slightly angry, raw singing of frontman Petr Hrdlička. The recording was made in a particularly positive atmosphere, in contrast to the tense environment the band has associated with the making of the album Loutky. Alongside the biggest hit, “Celebrity”, it includes Škwor’s own take on the 1980s hit “Vizitka”, originally sung by Jan Cézar. The release also contains a concert DVD with the music videos available at the time. It returns as a CD-plus-DVD edition after being unavailable in this format for several years.
