Description
This Czech-language MP3 audiobook presents newly discovered fairy-tale adventures of the bandit Rumcajs, his wife Manka and their son Cipísek. Set in the Řáholec forest and the town of Jičín, the stories also feature the water goblin Volšoveček, the giant Rabiják, the prince and princess of Jičín, the mayor, the apothecary, the bandit Čeliš and the animals of the forest. These further adventures come from the archive of fairy tales by Václav Čtvrtek and are read by Vojtěch Kotek, whose humorous performance gives each character a distinctive voice while bringing out the suspense and mysterious charm of the stories. The recording also includes a bonus fairy tale about Rumcajs and Cipísek going to Volšoveček for a Christmas carp and ending up with black kuba for Christmas Eve dinner.
