Description
This live recording captures a concert by Tata Bojs and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Tomáš Brauner, held last November at Prague’s Forum Karlín. The project, created as part of the orchestra’s exploration of new horizons, brought the symphonic musicians together for one evening with the legendary Hanspaulka band. In original arrangements, the sold-out audience heard Tata Bojs songs from Futuretro, Biorytmy, Nanoalbum, Kluci kde ste?, Ležatá osmička and A/B. Special guests on the recording include Klára Nemravová, drummer Tomáš Neuwerth and Clarinet Factory. Fans will also hear the first live performance of “Kamarádky” sung by Mardoša. Former guitarist and band member Marek Doubrava arranged all the songs. Although Tata Bojs had previously collaborated with the chamber ensemble Ahn Trio, working with a symphony orchestra was an entirely new experience for them, and this album shows how successful it proved to be.
