Description
The original soundtrack to the film comedy Padesátka, directed by Vojta Kotek from a screenplay by Petr Kolečko, follows the rugged people of the snowy Krkonoše mountains, a cross-country skiing race and several different meanings of the title. Alongside the original film score by Viliam Béreš and Patrick Karpentski, the soundtrack features contemporary songs and famous Czech pop hits from the 1970s, including Robinson by Jiří Korn, Duhová víla by Hana Zagorová and Petr Rezek, Potulný hráč by Václav Neckář, Máš chuť majoránky by Karel Zich and Ousider Walz by Wabi Daněk. It also presents several exclusive new recordings, including the first official release by the band TH!S, featuring Vojta Kotek, and Horal, recorded by former members of Nightwork, as well as music by Monikino Kino and Toxique. Michal Hrůza wrote the title song Padesátka especially for the film, making it his first new studio recording in some time. The performers include Wabi Daněk, Michal Hrůza, Jiří Korn, Václav Neckář, Petr Rezek, Hana Zagorová, Karel Zich and Doktor King.
