Description
Three years after the release of their third studio album, Polarity, the Broumov rock band Imodium returns with its fourth studio recording, Valerie. The album’s central theme is the femme fatale. As frontman Thom explains, Valerie is a muse and a fateful woman for whom someone is willing to do absolutely anything, a heroine for whom one wants both to live and die. Imodium worked on the album from the beginning of the year, with production handled by the band together with Martin Volák, known for his work with Daniel Landa and, more recently, Xindl X, as well as for producing Imodium’s self-titled 2004 debut. Another important contributor is director and screenwriter Martin Linhart, known as Marty68, who has worked with Karel Gott, Anna K and Clou and directed Imodium’s video for the lead single Valerie.
