Description
This CD presents Antonín Dvořák’s music through the work of Jakub Hrůša (born 23 July 1981), the most talented conductor of the youngest generation and a pupil of Jiří Bělohlávek. His remarkably mature performance confirms the exceptional talent of this young artist, currently chief conductor of the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic in Zlín, principal conductor of the Prague Philharmonia and assistant chief conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Jakub Hrůša’s rapidly developing international conducting career suggests that a major artistic personality with a great future is emerging. His Dvořák with the Prague Philharmonia offers a surprising experience.
