Father of All Motherfuckers is the thirteenth studio album by American punk rock band Green Day. Formed in 1986 around singer Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt, the band emerged from the California punk scene centred on 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley. Green Day initially released records on the small independent label Lookout!, moving to a major label in 1994, where their first album, Dookie, achieved phenomenal success. The album sold more than 10 million copies in the United States alone. Green Day is now one of the world’s most commercially successful rock bands, with more than 75 million records sold, and has received numerous awards, including five Grammys. According to frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, the album is influenced by soul, Motown and glam rock. The album is presented on vinyl.
