This Czech-language publication sets out the requirements and procedures for inspecting electrical medical equipment, its components and systems in operation. The increasing use of such equipment, driven by advances in electronics and computing, makes systematic safety inspections essential. It explains how these inspections relate to the recommendations for ordinary electrical appliances and to the requirements of ČSN 33 1500 and the ČSN EN 60 601 series of standards. The publication serves as an essential normative basis for healthcare facilities and other organizations operating electrical medical equipment, as well as companies carrying out inspections for suppliers.
