Synopsis
Major Smith (Richard Burton), Lieutenant Schaffer (Clint Eastwood), and Mary undertake a dangerous mission to rescue American General Carnaby from a seemingly impregnable German fortress high in the Bavarian Alps. The general is a key strategist in the Allied campaign to liberate Europe, and the team must reach him before he reveals vital information. As the operation unfolds, a ruthless German double agent creates suspicion and makes it impossible to know whom to trust.
