This Czech-language book is an adapted edition of Josef Mach’s Tomáš Baťa biography, first published in 1932. It brings together dozens of short stories from the life of Tomáš Baťa, which are both humorous and instructive. They present him from a more personal and human perspective than the image of him as a brilliant and timeless figure, while reflecting the strength of his character and personality. The stories were originally published in the Baťa company press and later collected in book form. The period authenticity of the text remains unchanged, including the foreword by Antonín Cekota.
