This monograph focuses primarily on the normal structure and function of the temporomandibular joint and related structures, presenting their anatomical and physiological norms while also covering clinical aspects with a significant relationship to their anatomy. It provides a theoretical and preclinical foundation for the study of further dental disciplines and for interdisciplinary cooperation with a range of specialists. The chapters follow a modern gnathological concept that considers the body as a whole and examines its individual components in this context. After the general chapters, the book discusses posture, followed by the cervical spine, temporomandibular joint and other structures, including dental issues.
