Description
This publication briefly outlines the history of the “hundred” series of aircraft produced by the Aero factory, culminating in the Aero Ab-101, the most numerous bomber in the Czechoslovak air force during the Munich crisis. The third part follows AERO issue 132 and provides a detailed account of the Aero Ab-101’s service with Air Regiments 6 and 5 during mobilization, up to the tragic events of 15 March 1939. It then covers the aircraft’s incorporation into the Luftwaffe and its service in the air force of the Slovak State. The volume concludes with a technical description of this Aero aircraft and is supplemented by numerous period photographs, documents and sketches. The contents are in Czech.
