Matýskova matematika pro 5. ročník, 1. díl (učebnice) – Novák František, Novotný Miloš (2026)

This first-part mathematics textbook for fifth grade forms part of a course consisting of three textbooks and three workbooks, with corresponding multimedia interactive textbooks and student licences for optional practice on home computers or tablets. The textbook systematically distinguishes the essential derived material, including definitions, practice tasks and examples for ongoing revision. It also introduces more challenging logical problems similar to those encountered in comparative tests or entrance examinations for grammar schools. Each type of problem first explains a model solution step by step, followed by similar examples for independent practice, using only mathematical skills the pupils have already acquired. Drawings provide a light-hearted supplement to the material. The first part begins with a systematic review of previously covered topics, followed smoothly by new material or slight extensions of earlier lessons, with particular emphasis on logical thinking and systematic methods. New topics focus especially on division by two-digit numbers and an introduction to decimal numbers. The textbook is in Czech.
