Description
This Czech-language arithmetic workbook is a practical companion to the sixth-grade textbook Arithmetic and forms, together with it, the first part of a comprehensive two-volume series of mathematics textbooks for the second stage of primary school and, where applicable, the lower grades of multi-year grammar schools. Each grade has two textbooks, one devoted to arithmetic and the other to geometry, and each is accompanied by a workbook. Additional materials for practising and reinforcing the subject matter are provided by collections of mathematical problems and exercises available alongside the textbooks. The textbook concept is based on established school practice while also meeting the aims of the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education, as confirmed, among other things, by its approval clause from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
