This new work by award-winning poet Milan Děžinský is unusual in genre. It consists of an extensive mosaic of short prose pieces in which the bizarre merges with the everyday, the historical with the intimate, and the grotesque with the tragic. There is also a bear trying to play the piano, and much more. Dust rises from a bedsheet, someone puts a wasp between your thighs in the kitchen, and a desperate little rabbit searches for a gentle owner. Playful and dark, this is inspiring reading in any case.
