The authors primarily draw from the Kids' Skills model, created by Finnish therapists Ben Furman and Tapani Ahola, but offer an original and expanded interpretation and application of this model. The three flowers in the title refer to the three core principles of this therapy: hope, collaboration, and creativity. The book details specific methods and steps in four key areas: 1. connecting and establishing collaboration with children, parents, and other stakeholders; 2. developing a vision of the desired state; 3. utilizing available resources; and 4. initiating and supporting therapeutic change.
