Description
This Czech-language book presents photographer Michal Kalhous, who currently works at the Department of Photography at the University of Ostrava. He studied photography in Milena Valušková’s specialist photography class at the M. Stibor Art School in Olomouc. Olomouc is also connected with his university studies and his involvement in the local art scene since the 1990s. In connection with the rise of postmodernism, his work is associated with the concept of non-photography. Alongside the creative duo Lukáš Jasanský and Martin Polák, Michal Kalhous is considered one of the most important Czech representatives of this movement.
