Descripción
This publication presents four further compositions, numbers 9–12 in the series, for four percussion players. The quartets are intended for teaching chamber music and for performance at school or other events. They do not aim to experiment with new sounds, introduce exotic instruments or impress with difficult-to-read notation, but to create clear and comprehensible music using a standard percussion setup and to highlight its possible rhythmic and melodic independence. Each quartet lasts between five and seven minutes. The instruments used are the xylophone, glockenspiel, vibraphone and drum kit. The contents are in Czech.
