This teacher’s material is designed for those teaching Spanish as a foreign language with Nuevo Companeros 3. The revised and expanded guide offers teachers a range of techniques for making lessons more effective, along with many easy-to-use ideas and extra materials. Each unit begins with its objectives and a warm-up activity, followed by methodological notes on grammar, communicative functions and cultural information, as well as extra ideas, games and activity answers. The guide also refers to workbook activities and the extra activities at the end of the guide recommended for each exercise. It includes suggestions for using the videos on the SGEL ELE Spanish for Foreigners YouTube channel, with video worksheets provided in the workbook appendix and at the end of the guide. Nine photocopiable assessments help evaluate students’ progress. Extra activities and a reading guide are also provided for Lunas Tres. En Cabo Polonio, Uruguay, a graded B1 reader published by SGEL. The guide gives teachers suggestions for working with the reader in class and photocopiable worksheets for students. It can be downloaded in full from the Teacher’s Section of the website’s Download Area and is included in the digital teacher’s edition of the coursebook.
