The book draws extensively on the author’s own experience, supplemented by the latest information from breeders around the world. Several chapters examine breeding facilities, feeding and bird care in detail, with particular emphasis on Gouldian finch colour mutations, explained thoroughly and clearly. The veterinary section, prepared in cooperation with veterinarian Juraj Šimunek, covers a wide range of diseases, their prevention and treatment.
