Descripción
This Czech-language essay draws on Ovid’s account in Metamorphoses of the mythical Golden Age, when humanity knew no sin and people were permanently happy. Eduard Tomáš and Míla Tomášová explore the mystical message of this legend and of all stories about the paradise of the first humans. They explain why and under what circumstances people left the paradise of timeless existence, gradually sinking into denser spheres of consciousness associated with ever-greater suffering. With divine help, humanity ultimately searches for and finds a way back to its original, underived happiness, from which it has never truly been distant, merely obscured it through its own ignorance. The text also includes practical spiritual exercises intended to help readers attain the inner state of the Golden Age.
