Buried bones conceal a chilling secret. People begin disappearing in Ostrava, and clues vanish as quickly as detective Adam Richtr’s hope. The investigation runs into invisible barriers and betrayals from within his own ranks, but Adam refuses to give up and investigates on his own in the city’s dark underbelly: dingy bars, underground tunnels and closed sectarian communities. A breakthrough comes with archaeologist Eleonora Kočí, who sees in the case the signature of her father, a powerful manipulator whose shadow has haunted her all her life.
