He explores the theory that the site was created in response to an ancient global catastrophe, the biblical Flood, and served as a gateway to a heavenly world accessible through a star in the constellation Cygnus. Collins identifies its builders with the Watchers of the Book of Enoch and the Anunnaki gods of Sumerian mythology, linking Göbekli Tepe to legends of the Garden of Eden, Adam, Seth and the angelic Sethian race.
