When a serial killer who is himself a Python appears without leaving a trace, Nathaniel returns to action at the urging of a younger, insecure colleague devastated by a recent breakup. The tense investigation explores chance and fate, synchronicities, quantum uncertainty and parallel worlds. Norman Jangot offers an unsettling, hard-to-classify story that combines genre entertainment with a visionary reflection on the contemporary world, as well as themes of revenge and the fragility of civilization.
