Descripción
This Czech-language publication presents the new Cybersecurity Act, which came into force in November 2025 and changes the rules for a wide range of institutions and companies. The obligations do not apply automatically to everyone: each organization must assess whether it is covered according to its sector, the importance of the service it provides and its size. The book offers a complete overview of the obligations and practical criteria used to determine whether the law applies to a particular organization. Alongside the text of the act and its implementing regulations, it includes key European legislation, including the DORA Regulation, Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/2690 and the Cyber Resilience Act. It therefore provides a comprehensive view of Czech and European cybersecurity regulation. The publication is intended for those working in energy, transport, healthcare, banking, insurance, digital infrastructure, waste management, food production and distribution, the chemical industry and other related fields. Further associated regulations, such as the Act on Public Administration Information Systems, are covered in the ÚZ eGovernment and Electronic Communications topic.
